Hayley Orantia is an American singer, actress and acrobat. The majority of people recognize the name as Erica Goldberg, from the show 'The Goldbergs' on television. Although she's a singer, her primary passion is music. Music is the first passion that she insists on; it's something that she started dabbling at when she was 9 years old. At the age 12 she was taking serious enough about music to start professional training. She ventured into songwriting at 13 and was 14 when she released her debut album of covers songs. And the rest is history. Orrantia has Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. Her family has Hispanic roots even if she was only able to speak English when she was a kid and her whole life was in the United States. To preserve her heritage, she's learned Spanish and composed songs using the language. A song she has created is called "Hasta Verte," a song was recorded by her in Spanish. Orrantia was a part of The X Factor season 1's auditions in the summer of 2011. Orrantia auditioned, and was chosen from YouTube videos, received four "yeses," from judges in Seattle during live audition phase. She was originally an individual performer. However, after "Hollywood Week" the three female performers were added to groups to take part in the auditions. The group was eliminated at the fifth week during the live show.
