Sharon Ann Leal is an actress from Filipino and African-American heritage, who established a name for herself thanks to her roles in the TV series Boston Public and in the romantic musical Dreamgirls. She was born and raised in Arizona, US she grew to be a teenager in the Philippines before returning to California which is where her family moved to. Her first appearances in performances on stage of local theater organizations in her teens.
