Suzy Kolber was born Suzanne Lisa Kolber on May 14th 1964 in Philadelphia Pennsylvania to a Jewish family. She is currently 58. Sandra Kolber, her mother is known as. Gene Kolber, is the father. Her school was Sandy Run Middle School in Dresher Pennsylvania and is a 1982 student at Penn's Upper Dublin High School. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in telecommunications in 1986 from University of Miami. While in her undergrad years she was hired to the post of sports director with Dynamic in Coral Gables Florida. She was also in the company for two additional years in the year 1984 and 1986. She was also a member of the University of Miami water skiing team during this time. Plaza began her professional career in Wilmington doing community theaters, performing Improv and also directing productions. After graduating from high school, she moved to New York City where she took improv classes at Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre and trained in television and film production at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and graduated in the year 2006. When she graduated in high school she relocated into New York City. There, she attended improv courses at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre. She also learned about film and television production at the Tisch School for the Arts. The school graduated her in the year 2006.
