Taylor-Momsen

Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, songwriter, singer and actress. Most well-known is her role in the CW television show Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Momsen has seen her music included in films and television shows including How to Be single Going far as well as Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sister Sloane Momsen also works as an actor. She studied dancing in the Center of Creative Arts St. Louis. When she was just three, she acted professionally in a Shake and Bake commercial on national television in 1997. Momsens' career stopped for nearly three years. She was then offered a leading role on the WB show Misconceptions. Momsen also appeared at the time in Saving Shiloh (2006). She auditioned as well for the title role in Hannah Montana and was in the top three. However, the role was instead awarded the role to Miley Cyrus.
