Ina-Garten
Ina Garten is known as a well-known American writer of cook books for many years. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa and began its run in 2002. Ina began her career in with nuclear energy policy and budgets for the White House. Ina initially enjoyed the intellectual stimulation that came with her work, but she quickly stopped her interest. Instead, she bought Barefoot Contessa, a specialty food shop. Her store was extremely successful for 18 years, until she made the decision to close it. She then began her first cookbook. After that, several cookbooks were published and she also contributed to magazine articles. Her Food Network television program also began and rapidly gained popularity. In addition, she sells a variety of items ranging from cooking materials to equipment and storage containers. Ina herself, a self-taught chef she has never attended the culinary institute or at the hotel. She is a simple cook and for her entertaining style. Her most well-known recipes include Skillet-Roasted Lemon Chicken Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac and Cheese Beef Bourguignon Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lemon Bars.
